Our project residential development with children's house in Braystraße was awarded the 2017 Fritz Höger Prize for Brick Architecture in Silver. The Fritz Höger Prize is an international architecture prize awarded by the "Initiative Bauen mit Backstein - Zweischalige Wand Marketing e. V.". It is awarded every three years, most recently in 2014. The Braystrasse project received the Silver Award in the residential and multi-storey housing category.

For outstanding architectural achievements in building with brick, the Munich architectural firm Palais Mai has now received the coveted Fritz Höger Prize 2017 for Brick Architecture. The award went to the "Residential development with children's house" project in Munich. With over 600 projects submitted and a great international response, the competition, which is being held for the fourth time, is one of the most important architecture prizes in Germany.
With its project "Residential Development with Children's House", Palais Mai convinced the prominent jury of experts and prevailed among more than 600 submissions from all five continents. According to the jury, "the building can be described as a successful and high-quality project. The typology clearly shows how redensification can work in urban spaces and especially in the context of inner courtyards."
An outstanding achievement - not only because of the quantity, but above all with regard to the high architectural and craftsmanship quality of this year's competition entries. The prize was awarded on 6 October at the German Architecture Centre in Berlin.
